The Antica Trattoria della Pesa, a Locale Storico d’Italia since 1880, stands where goods coming into the city were weighed for the toll before entering by Porta Comasina, today Porta Garibaldi. Open Monday to Saturday, 12.30–2.30pm and 7–11pm; closed on Sundays. Its bistro is around the corner on Via Maroncelli.
