Brera grew up around the Palazzo di Brera, home of the Pinacoteca, the Academy and the Orto Botanico. Its lanes, the Via Fiori Chiari and the Via Madonnina among them, are full of galleries, shops and small restaurants.
Sights
The Pinacoteca di Brera and Palazzo Citterio, the Piccolo Teatro and the lanes around the Via Fiori Chiari.
Eating
Seta by Antonio Guida (Two MICHELIN Stars), Sadler (One) and Da Niko at the Bvlgari Hotel.
Book the Pinacoteca online and go early.
Staying
Mandarin Oriental, the Bvlgari Hotel, Palazzo Parigi and Casa Brera.
Our advice: come back in the evening, when the lanes fill for the aperitivo.
